Sports Turf Services LLC is seeking a motivated turf professional, experienced groundskeeper, or aspiring assistant superintendent to manage two high-end private school athletic field contracts located in Smyrna and Roswell, Georgia.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys autonomy, takes pride in their work, and prefers a positive, low-drama working environment. The schools are excellent to work with, the facilities are very nice, and the role is designed to be manageable and sustainable long term.

Role Overview

The position involves the full management and maintenance of athletic field properties, including:

• Mowing and detailing
• Weed eating and edging
• Spraying and fertilization
• Aeration and top dressing
• Minor dirt work and field repairs
• General site cleanliness and presentation
• Communication with coaches and school staff
• Monitoring irrigation and turf health
• Equipment operation and trailer towing
• Fraise mowing

The workload is realistically a four-day-per-week operational role, with the fifth day typically focused on spraying, fertilization, detailing, or proactive turf work.

What We’re Looking For

We are specifically looking for someone who:

• Is self-sufficient and dependable
• Can solve problems without constant oversight
• Takes ownership of their properties
• Is comfortable working independently
• Has experience in turf, landscaping, golf, or athletic field maintenance
• Is comfortable towing a 16-foot equipment trailer
• Can represent the company professionally with clients and coaches
