Director of Golf Course Maintenance

Specifically related to the Position:

1. Lead a team to provide a culture of quality, success, vision, and genuine hospitality
2. Supervise the staff and delegate specific tasks and responsibilities
3. Direct all maintenance activities for all components
4. Instruct and train equipment operators on the operation and care of mowing and other equipment
5. Supervise and participate in the operation and maintenance of pumps and irrigation/drainage systems
6. Provide vision for long-term capital improvements
7. Operate multiple types of equipment as needed
8. Direct all personnel management and evaluation
9. Monitor and ensure ongoing safety compliance
10. Maintain proper record keeping
11. Hold a Certified Pesticide Applicator’s License
12. Monitor inventory of fertilizer/pesticides, irrigation parts, safety apparel, and other related supplies
13. Solve problems and navigate complex variable situations
14. Be detail-oriented, task-driven, and have a sharp eye for improving course quality
15. Communicate effectively with clubhouse and operations teams
16. Maintain a high degree of visibility and guest engagement
17. Possess mechanical aptitude
18. Demonstrate strong irrigation background
19. Have experience with both ultradwarf Bermudagrass

Position Details:

Education, Knowledge, Training:
- 5+ years of golf course maintenance experience
- 2- or 4-year degree in Agronomy, Turf Management, or related field

Position Benefits:
