Golf Course Equipment Mechanic

Looking for full-time Mechanic to maintain golf course equipment. Must have a strong background in small engine repair or experience with golf course maintenance equipment. Must be professional and detail oreiented and capable to efficiently maintain all turf equipment in optimal condition. 

Wolf Creek Golf Club is a privately owned 18 hole golf course open to the public located in SW, Atlanta. established 2001

Responsibilties And Requirements :

Golf Course Mechanic reports to the Superintendent and oversees proper daily repairs and maintenance of golf course turf equipment.

Ensure mower blades are sharp and cutting heights are set properly for optimum playing conditions. Reel Grinder experience is prefered or must be capable of quickly learning. 

Schedule and maintain preventive maintenance program with proper record keeping of each piece of equipment.

Communicate and work with superintendent to quickly resolve break down issues. 

Order parts for inventory and repairs and keep up with cost and budget.

Ability to diagnose mechanical issues and properly repair in timley manner.

Maintain a clean orderly shop and safe environment.

Ability to ocasionally perform welding for emergency repairs.

This position invovles physical abilitys such as bending flexability, kneeling, and lifting objects 50lbs and working in with outdoor weather and environmental conditions

Must be able to arrive on time each day and work 40 hrs within Monday through Friday.

Must be skilled in use of wide variety of repair tools.

Must have knowlege of gas and diesel engines with hydrulic systems.
