Golf Course Mechanic

Responsibilties And Requirements :

Looking for a Golf Course Mechanic responsible for repairs and preventive maintenance of all golf course equipment.

Keep mowers sharp with very high standards of quality of cut. Daily check cutting heights and make certain mowers are set properly for optimum playing conditions. Equipment will need to be daily inpected and properly greased. Foley Reel Grinder experience is prefered or must be capable of quickly learning. Training will be provided if needed.

Responsible for maintaining daily Record Log book of preventive maintenance and repairs. 

Communicate and work with Superintendent to quickly resolve emergency break down issues.

Must be self motivated with a positive and pleasent attitude.

Order parts for inventory and repairs. Keep up with cost and budget.

Ability to diagnose mechanical issues and properly repair in timley manner.

Maintain a clean orderly shop and safe environment.

Ability to ocasionally perform welding for emergency repairs.

This position invovles physical abilitys such as bending flexability, kneeling, lifting objects 50lbs and work ocasionally outdoor seasonal weather and environmental conditions. 

Must be dependable and able to arrive on time each day and work 40 hrs within Monday through Friday.

Must be skilled in use of wide variety of repair tools.
