Equipment Technician

Monroe Golf & Country Club is a member-owned club established in 1957.  Bentgrass greens with 419 Bermuda grass tees, fairways with some zoysia tees.  The club also includes a driving range, tennis and pickleball courts, croquet lawn, swimming pool and clubhouse.  The Golf Course Equipment Technician will be responsible for the planning and implementation of maintenance and service on all turf equipment.  Experience in record keeping, shop organization, communication with leadership team about equipment needs and conditions is a must. Willing to be a team player in making the club be the best in the area.  Membership to both GGCSA and GCSAA is available.

Requirements:

• Experience in Reel Grinding preferred
• Maintenance Scheduling of all equipment
• Troubleshooting
• Small Engine Repair
• Welding experience a plus
• Experience with hydraulic hoses and seal repair
• Preform proper diagnostics of equipment failure
• Knowledge of Electrical Systems
• Ability to keep a clean and safe work environment
• Golf course experience preferred but not mandatory
• Must work well with others and be a team player
• Tools provided with heated shop and equipment lift

Rate of pay: $22.00/hour to $26.00/hour depending on experience
